Delete Your Migzo Account
Account deletion and data removal — last updated: 30 July 2026
You can delete your Migzo account at any time. This page explains how deletion works, what happens to each kind of data, and what the law requires us to keep. It applies to customer accounts on the Migzo app (Android package com.bookmigzo.app).
How to delete your account
- 1 Open the Migzo app on your phone.
- 2 Go to your Profile tab.
- 3 Tap "Delete Account".
- 4 Confirm your decision in the dialog that appears.
- 5 Your account is deactivated immediately, you are signed out of all devices, and a 30-day grace period begins before permanent deletion.
The 30-day grace period
For 30 days after you request deletion, your account is deactivated but not yet deleted. If you change your mind, simply sign back in with your phone number and your account is restored. After 30 days the deletion is finalised and cannot be reversed.
What happens to orders in progress
- Orders that are still unpaid or awaiting the restaurant's confirmation are cancelled when you request deletion; any payment already captured for them is refunded automatically to your original payment method.
- An order the restaurant has already accepted or started preparing is allowed to complete normally — the kitchen is already making your food, so please collect it.
What happens to your data
When the grace period expires:

Why some records remain: Indian GST law requires invoice and transaction records to be retained for a minimum of 6 years. After deletion these records carry a random anonymous identifier instead of your identity — the tax data survives, the link to you does not.
Restaurant partner accounts
If your account is linked to a restaurant on Migzo, the business's KYC and compliance records (FSSAI licence, PAN, GSTIN, settlement details, signed partner agreement) are kept for their statutory retention periods even after the account closes — see our Privacy Policy. Deletion removes your personal identifiers as described above.
Can't access the app?
Email support@bookmigzo.com from any channel, including the phone number registered to your account so we can verify it is you. We process emailed deletion requests within 48 hours, and the same 30-day grace period then applies.
